Introduction
This online HAZWOPER refresher course fully satisfies the annual training requirements outlined in OSHA standards 29 CFR 1910.120 and 1926.65. Topics include hazardous waste, identifying hazardous materials, levels of protection, site safety plan, hazard communication, respirators, decontamination, handling drums, etc.
This annual refresher will equip you with the necessary knowledge and skills to ensure a safe and healthy work environment. Through this program, you will gain a deeper understanding of the best practices and strategies that can be implemented to minimize the potential hazards of the workplace. By the end of the training, you will be able to identify, assess, and manage the risks associated with harmful exposures on the worksite, ensuring a safer and healthier work environment. It’s the required annual training for equipment operators, hazardous materials technicians, supervisors, safety officers, project managers, and incident commanders.
This course is designed for workers who are already certified in HAZWOPER regulations but need to have an annual refresher to keep the certification. If you aren’t already certified in either the 24-hour or the 40-hour course, then please complete one of those courses first.
