Learning Objectives in the USACE RMS Administration Course

This material is for training purposes only. It is to be used to assist the Quality Control Manager (QC Manager) or Submittal Clerk with the best practices when working within the Administration Tab in RMS for USACE projects. This course is not intended as a substitute for experience, however the information learned throughout the course, along with the downloadable training materials will help the student excel as a solid Quality Control Manager.

Normal administrative functions of a typical contract are managed in this module. It is where the descriptive data and status of the contract are entered and the various areas for you to utilize RMS for the particular contract. Correspondence and RFIs pertaining to the contract are also managed in this area.

This course is for anyone who is part of a Construction Quality Control team working on Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Projects. The Administration Tab consists of:

  • Contract Description
  • Contract Access Control
  • Correspondence
  • Request for Information
  • Prime Contractor and Subcontractor Insurance
  • Payrolls
  • Contract Notification Control

Module quizzes.

In module 2 the quiz is asking questions from module 3 which has yet to be covered, the quiz at the end of each module should cover the module completed.
